Camp Gid D Up: Professional Cowboy and Veteran Actor/Director Glynn Turman and his wife, Jo-An host their tenth annual 'Camp GID D Up', a western-themed children's summer camp. Glynn and Jo-An open their High Desert California Ranch to Urban Youths for free. Their goal is to provide an opportunity for inner-city and at-risk youths to attend a free western style summer camp. 'Camp Gid D Up' is located at the Turman's 40-acre ranch for one week during the summer where the kids learn to ride horses, rope, swim, sleep under the stars and enjoy nature.

The Federation of Black Cowboys: African-Americans whose mission is to promote the culture, history and legacy of America's forgotten Black Cowboys. Along with educating and exposing our youth to an alternate lifestyle. Based in Brooklyn, New York.



Reginald T. Dorsey: Cowboy/Filmmaker Reginald T. Dorsey is just one example of the multi-talented Black Cowboys of today. Handsome, strong and creative, Reggie is a tremendous force in the Los Angeles Community promoting youth activities and social awareness.
