Mike Mann and the NightRiders play an exciting mixture of Country Western and Contemporary Pop with Soulful Harmonies. The band has performed at numerous events, festivals and rodeos.

Black Cowboys played an extremely important role in the "Real West". Riding the range and driving the cattle to market was not easy work, or anywhere as romantic, or popular as pictured in movies and on television. And even though the Black Cowboy worked hard, and helped build the West, this may be one of the most forgotten periods of African-American history.

Mike Mann and the NightRiders relive the Black Cowboy experience in their songs. "This is what Black Cowboy Music would be like today if it survived the ages", says Mike Mann. This is not music of imagination, this is the real feeling from a real songwriters who knows, feels and lives the Black Cowboy experience.
